President of the Chaguanas Chamber of Commerce, Richie Sookhai, believes it is time for Government to put flour on the list of zero-rated items.
Speaking on the NOW Morning Show, Mr. Sookhai said there are some products of flour on the list, but not flour itself.
He believes Government must consider this to ease the burden on citizens.
Mr. Sookhai said by adding flour to the list of zero-rated items, it will also allow flour to come down even further to the average cost worldwide.
