Trinidad and Tobago has been at the centre of discussions with a number of institutions and leaders focusing on the topic of climate financing arrangements to reduce greenhouse gas emissions globally.
Minister of Planning and Development, Camille Robinson-Regis, at the global Climate Change Conference, COP26, met with representatives of the Caribbean Development Bank; the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition; and the Commonwealth Secretary General to name a few.
Minister Robinson-Regis held discussions with the President of the Caribbean Development Bank surrounding the Bank’s development of measures to ensure that Small Island Developing States have access to the right level of support and resources in the future.
