The Commonwealth Observer Group visited the TTPS ahead of the April 28th General Election.
They met with the Acting Commissioner of Police, Junior Benjamin, and the executive team to discuss TTPS’s preparedness and reaffirm our commitment to a safe, secure, and peaceful electoral process.
Key focus areas included:
- Safety & security
- Monitoring potential threats
- Preventative engagement & fair, targeted enforcement
- Protecting the electoral process & clear public communication—especially in marginal constituencies.
