The Ministry of Education welcomes the partnership of Non-Governmental Organisations in helping shape the future for the nation’s young people.
The statement from Minister in the Ministry of Education, Lisa Morris Julien, at the Jesus Soul Seekers Remnant International National YouthFest at the Larry Gomes Stadium on Friday.
The aim of the Youthfest was to positively uplift the nation’s children in light of the rise in school violence, crime, domestic violence, depression and mental instability in Trinidad and Tobago.
During the Youthfest, grocery hampers were given to families while students received school supplies. Minister Morris-Julien advised the students to never give up on their dreams.
