CWI Regional Four Day Championships: TT Red Force In 6-Wicket Win Over West Indies Academy

The T&T Red Force celebrated a commanding six-wicket victory over the West Indies Academy at the Conaree Cricket Ground.

Resuming their overnight total of 84 for 3, the Academy’s middle and lower order batters had good contributions to the eventual end score of 224. Carlon Bowen-Tuckett top scored with 46 not out. Anderson Phillip claimed best figures for the Red Force, taking four wickets for 33 runs. Bryan Charles also grabbed 4 wickets and Khary Pierre supported with 2 wickets.

The T&T outfit were set 60 runs to win on day three, and lost Cephas Cooper early for just six runs. But they were unbothered, getting to their sixty run target in 16.2 overs.

The Red Force next take on the Leeward Islands Hurricanes beginning on Wednesday, February 21st, at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
