The retrenchment of over 400 Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago workers is affecting service to customers.
That’s according to Secretary General of the Communications Workers Union, Clyde Elder during a media conference on Monday.
He said the disruption in telecommunications service on the North Coast of Trinidad – which affected Tobago in a significant way over the weekend would not have occurred – if key employees at TSTT were not retrenched.
Mr. Elder said service to customers would have been restored in a shorter time frame.
