With 250 days before the start of the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games from August 4th to 11th 2023 at venues throughout Trinidad and Tobago, the Local Organising Committee has revealed the logo.
According to the LOC, the logo’s colours represents T&T, blue for the water and sky around the islands, red for the vibrancy of youth, green for growth of the island’s development, brown for fertility, and yellow for the warmth and friendliness of the people on the islands.
Commonwealth Games Federation President, Dame Louise Martin DBE, said she was in awe of the strides the LOC has made toward a successful hosting of the Games’ seventh edition.
The 2023 Games will feature eight disciplines including swimming, athletics and para athletics, road and track cycling, triathlon, FAST5 Netball, Rugby Sevens, and Beach Volleyball.
