One man is dead following a shooting which took place near MovieTowne Port of Spain on Sunday.
According to police reports, officers were on patrol in the area when they heard several explosions just after 8pm.
Upon responding, they found 25 year old Odell Samuel of Gopaul Avenue, Diego Martin, lying motionless with apparent gunshot wounds about the body.
Samuel was pronounced dead at 10pm by a District Medical Officer who then ordered the body removed.
Investigations continue.
