The action continued at the Brian Lara Academy as the Dream 11 T10 Tournament continues.
The first match saw the Scarlet Ibis Scorches getting to a competitive 132 for 4 off their 10 overs. Tion Webster smashed 72 off 36, Mark Deyal grabbed 2 for 28. In response, the Steelpan Strikers could not withstand the Scorchers bowlers succumbing to 89 for 8 off their allotted 10 overs.
In the second encounter of the day, the Cocrico Cavaliers scored 114 for 6 off their 10 overs. Hakeem Mitchell top scored with 32 not out and Dexter Sween Assisted with 26. Needing 115 for victory, the Leatherback Giants made light work of the target. Nicholas Pooran was among the runs yet again after scoring a century in a previous encounter, he got to 55 not out and was ably assisted by Amir Jangoo scoring 38. They finished on 117 for 2 off 7.3 overs winning the match by 8 wickets.
