A driving instructor has been hospitalised after he was shot during an attack at the Port of Spain Licensing Office on Wednesday morning.
According to police reports, the driving instructor was in the car park at around 11.45am when he was shot in his hand by a man who fled into a waiting vehicle on Wrightson Road.
Police officers later intercepted the car and arrested two men. A pistol was allegedly found in the vehicle. Both men were detained at the Woodbrook Police Station.
The driving instructor is reportedly in stable condition at hospital.
