The Ministry of Education believes the introduction of e-classrooms soon will reduce learning loss, even if students have to be in quarantine at home.
The Ministry’s Student Learning Management System (SLMS) will adapt the student learning experience to include an e-book and numeracy platform. The online learning system will have a phased implementation until July, with a hopeful move to have all schools on by September 2022.
Education Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly says such digital transformation will reduce learning loss experienced in the last two years.
The Minister says a meeting is carded with TTUTA to have discussions on this soon.
