Edmund Dillon Meets President Maduro

Trinidad and Tobago’s Ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Retired Major General Edmund Dillon, has presented his credentials to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

During the Formal ceremony earlier this week (Monday) at the presidential palace of Miraflores, in Caracas, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela were hailed as neighbours that communicate via the Caribbean Sea..

President Maduro extended his hands in cooperation to Trinidad and Tobago to continue strengthening the relationship and mutual respect that the 2 nations share. The discussion focused on their joint work agendas.

Ambassador Dillon a former National Security minister and Chief of Defence Staff was presented with
Instruments of Appointment last august along with 4 other new Heads of Mission.
