COVID-19 has claimed eight more lives, taking this country’s death toll to 1,629.
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, among the fatalities are three men and five women.
The Ministry of Health has also confirmed there are 258 new cases of the virus. Active cases now stand at 4,360.
It stated that 278 people remain at hospital while 577,507 people are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
