Eight bois men have made it to the Finals of the National Stick Fighting Competition 2024.
Anthony Cooper, Kevon Cooper, Donald Lewis, Ronald Lewis, Anderson Marcano, Oneil Odle, Mark Quashie, and Evon Ralph advanced after the Semi-Final round on Wednesday.
Anderson Marcano, a 16-year stick fighting veteran, said his confidence comes from years of experience and the love for the art form.
At the Semi-Final Round held at the Diego Martin Sporting Complex, husband and wife Terrance and Tricia Beepath shared what keeps them coming back to this and other Carnival events.
The Finals of the National Stick Fighting Competition 2024 will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at Skinner Park, San Fernando from 7pm.
