On July 19th U.S Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Candace Bond celebrated the “Soul of America” at the U.S. Embassy’s annual Independence Day reception at the Hyatt Hotel, Port of Spain.
Tribute was paid to U.S. citizen and Korean war veteran Dr. Robert Alphonso Nelson also known as the legendary Lord Nelson, a pioneer in the Calypso music art form.
