A Belmont home owner who lost her house in the New Year’s Day blaze is calling for a ban on fireworks.
Anastasia Grant said this would help to protect the many dogs that are traumatised by the annual fireworks.
She adds that her dog, Ruby, almost died in this morning’s fire, and something needs to be done as soon as possible.
The pet lover is asking for any assistance from Government in providing a home, food, and clothing.
She is also asking for some assistance with food for her pet.
