A national holiday is among the observances the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community is requesting as a symbol to honour indigenous people in Trinidad and Tobago.
Members of the community and Government officials assembled at the Red House on Tuesday as the First Peoples launched their Heritage Week of Activities.
