Commuters were forced to traverse through flood waters in Bon-Accord/Crown Point in Tobago on Wednesday.
Following heavy rainfall, several drivers and home owners shared videos of drains filled to capacity causing water to gush into the streets.
In Store Bay Branch Road outside the Airport construction project, many drivers had to choose a different route as the water reached the height of pavements and flowed into neighbouring homes.
In Crown Point, where the Tobago House of Assembly conducted works to address the flooding issues, water covered store fronts. The Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) told TTT News they responded to one report in the Bon-Accord area regarding a blocked drain. The incident was referred to the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) to conduct clean up operations.
