Persons are once again battling rising flood waters in several areas in Trinidad and Tobago as rain, due to an an active low-level trough, continued overnight.
Trinidad and Tobago was placed under Adverse Weather and Riverine Flood Yellow Level Alerts from Tuesday November 22nd until 8pm today, Wednesday November 23rd.
River levels will also be continuously monitored as river levels are expected to remain elevated due to the additional rainfall.
The Office of Disaster Preparedness (ODPM) continues to urge persons to monitor weather conditions and exercise caution.
