National flags will be flown at half mast to mark the passing of former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, Communications Division indicates all State and non-State Agencies are advised to fly the National Flag of Trinidad and Tobago at half mast in observance of the former Prime Minister’s death.
The statement notes other flags on the same stand of poles should also be at half-mast or should not be flown at all when the National Flag is at half-mast.
Mr. Panday served as the fifth Prime Minister of this country from 1995 to 2001.
