Ms. Maharaj said she understands the increase is a direct result of global economic challenges but is pleading for assistance for SMEs by the government.
Ms. Maharaj is calling on the government to help buffer the blow to SMEs by providing assistance in the form of stimulus packages. The SGCOC President said government conversations and collaborations with business chambers and SMEs will be welcomed in navigating the way forward.
