The Maraval Cultural Committee is keeping one Good Friday tradition alive, the beating of the Bobolee. For the last two years, they were unable to have the parade and beating ceremony. But this year, with COVID-19 restrictions lifted, the wedding was in full swing with effigies of two prominent people making the headlines internationally.
