Guyana has confirmed its first case of the Monkeypox virus – a 57 year old man with no recent travel history.
According to Newsroom Guyana, the patient has been isolated and is stable.
Up to news time, Guyana’s Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony was said to be preparing to make a statement.
