The aviation industry in China welcomes a new one-stop maintenance location which can benefit over 60 countries.
The Hainan Free Trade Port, located on Hainan Island, the southernmost province of China, is aiming to become one of the leaders of aircraft maintenance worldwide.
During a tour of the new Hainan Free Trade Port One-Stop Aircraft Maintenance Industry Base, Port officials told international journalists that the main attraction is the potential savings to airlines and private owners due to minimal downtime.
The Port, launched in 2020, is part of the Chinese Government’s push to transform Hainan Province into an international trade and investment hub.
