Hot Days Ahead For Trinidad and Tobago

Are you feeling the heat? Our Meteorologist, Ean Wallace tells us it’s not unusual to experience these high temperatures.

In fact, he explained that the wet season temperatures are warmer than the dry season temperatures, with September being the warmest wet season month and March being the warmest in the dry season.

Ean said in the past week we have seen temperatures of 34 degrees celsius on Monday and 35 on Wednesday in Piarco. Sunday’s maximum temperature was 34 degrees celsius in Piarco and 32 in Crown Point.

He said we have to consider what the temperatures actually feel like. He also noted temperatures are expected to have that real feel temperature between 38 to 39 degrees celsius, possibly up to 45 degrees celsius in the next few days.
