Hundreds Turn Up For Tobago’s Blue Food Festival

After a two-year hiatus, Tobago’s Blue Food Festival returned to Bloody Bay on Sunday.

Hundreds of patrons showed up anticipating the usual heavy rains but to their surprise, it was an entire day of sunshine.

Over twenty vendors offered patrons a taste of ‘King Dasheen’ as it is termed for this event, while the island’s artisans displayed their products.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley also joined the crowds at the Blue Food Festival, enjoying dasheen delicacies and live entertainment.

Chief Secretary and Area Representative for the district Farley Augustine welcomed persons to the event.
