ICC Test Rankings – India Reclaims Top Spot, West Indies In 8th

In the latest International Cricket Council Test Ranking, the West Indies sit in 8th spot on the table with a rating of 75. Just above them at 83, is Sri Lanka which defeated the regional team 2-0 in their recently completed series in Galle.

India reclaimed top spot after defeating previous leaders New Zealand by 372 runs in the Second Test at Mumbai to win their two-match series 1-0. India now has 124 rating points, while New Zealand lost three points and remains with 121. The victory in Mumbai also meant that India registered their 14th consecutive series win at home. Indian captain Virat Kohli became the first player with 50 international wins in each format of the game.

They are followed by Australia (108), on 107 is England, Pakistan is in 5th on 92, South Africa is on 88, followed by Sri Lanka and the Windies, with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe rounding out the table on 49 and 31 respectively.
