A survey is about to begin to help the Ministry of Labour examine the status of vacancies in the nation.
The last such survey took place in 2012. This year, Kairi Consultants will work with the Ministry to determine where vacancies are in the various industries. This information will assist employers to find the talent for their businesses.
Manager Labour Market Information Unit, Bruce Spencer, says the survey will help to increase both productivity and knowledge.
Mr. Spencer says not only employers will benefit but also the employee, especially in terms of getting qualified for upcoming jobs.
The survey will reveal facts on both the supply and demand sides of the labour market, making it more transparent for decision and policy making.
