Marketing Director at the International Women’s Resource Network, Gail Merhair, wants to see justice for all the victims who were abused at Children’s Homes across the country.
She was speaking during a webinar on child abuse hosted by the IWRN and the US Embassy on Thursday.
Clinical Therapist and Traumatologist, and former Chairman of the Children’s Authority, Hanif Benjamin, said the interconnectivity of systems protects children.
He said many don’t understand that when the systems work together, only then will the Children’s Authority have the power to protect children.
