Climate change is said to be a main contributor to the development of Hurricane Beryl which made landfall at Carriacou on July 1st.
Meteorologists say abnormally high sea surface temperatures as well as the transition out of El Niño to a La Niña are creating a very “hurricane-friendly” environment in the Tropical Atlantic this year.
