Almost one month after being kidnapped, businessman Suvesh Ramnarine is now safely back home with his family.
The 33 year old was taken by armed assailants on October 12th while at a bar on the Southern Main Road in Cunupia.
The police confirmed that at approximately 1:15am today (Wednesday), the kidnappers contacted Mr. Ramnarine’s family and instructed them to pick him up from a location in Cunupia. Around 1:54am, a male relative found Mr. Ramnarine waiting on Jerningham Road and took him home.
He was subsequently taken to a medical facility where he was examined and later discharged.
Mr. Ramnarine is reported to be in good spirits.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is urging anyone with information that could assist in apprehending those responsible for the kidnapping to come forward, as investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
