With Government encouraging places of work, worship and recreation to be safe spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic, national sporting organisations are following suit in anticipation of the resumption of sporting activities.
One National Sporting Organisation which has decided that its training venues will be adhering to the Safe Zone call is the Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation.
At a recent meeting of the Federation’s executive, it was decided that “Safe Zone” protocols will be implemented at its training locations when the sport is allowed to resume.
The Safe Zone protocols will be coupled with the Federation’s Regulations for Dragon Boating in Trinidad and Tobago under Coronavirus Safety Protocols, which have been reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Health.
