A Central family is mourning the loss of their relative following an accident at the Forres Park Landfill last Friday afternoon.
The victim of an unfortunate encounter with an excavator has been identified as John Eldowyn Charles.
His common-law wife, Afesha Julien, said Mr. Charles sustained injuries to his ribs, spine, and suffered a punctured lung. He died at the San Fernando General Hospital on Monday morning.
Ms. Julien said Mr. Charles was working hard to build his house and would usually visit the dump to make some extra money.
