A Maximum of 20 million dollars will spent on Carnival 2022.
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts has announced that support for Trinidad and Tobago’s “Taste of Carnival” has been approved.
The budget allocated to the National Carnival Commission is fifteen million dollars for the hosting of its events.
A further maximum of five million dollars will go towards supporting a number of smaller, separately promoted safe zone type of events.
The Taste of Carnival will be funded by the Ministry of Finance, through corporate sponsorship and gate receipts received by the NCC and the separate safe zone events promotions.
