Minister Kazim Hosein Urges Love And Unity At Jalsa Salana Convention

“True love for all mankind is the only solution that can heal the social and spiritual wounds of this world.”

The message by Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Kazim Hosein, during the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s Jalsa Salana Annual Convention 2025.

The Jalsa Salana Annual Convention brings together members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community for spiritual renewal, education, and strengthening of faith.

During the Convention, Minister Hosein emphasised the importance of love and unity while seeking to navigate challenging times.

“Taking into consideration the current trials and tribulations facing this world, my message today is very simple and focuses on the motto of this great community: love for all, and I saw it there, love for all, hatred for none.”

He also reminded about the fragility of life, urging everyone to live with gratitude and responsibility toward their loved ones.

Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Jamaica, Maulana Tariq Azeem, highlighted the significance of Taqwa, explaining that it requires being conscious of Allah in every aspect of life.

“Taqwa is not merely offering your Salat, your Namaz, your prayers. Taqwa is not simply reading the Holy Quran, giving charity, and observing a fast in Ramadan. And it is also not just simply avoiding major sins such as murder, adultery, theft, etcetera, because if Taqwa was limited to these things alone that I have mentioned, it would be very easy to acquire.”

During the feature address, Professor at the Jamia Ahmadiyya in Canada, Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Cheema, discussed the importance of peace in Islam.

He stressed that the true teachings of Islam, as conveyed by the Quran, do not promote violence or jihad but rather advocate for peace, love, and respect for others.

“People sometimes say that Muslims, they love jihad. Muslims don’t love jihad. The Quran does not promote jihad. The Holy Prophet of Islam does not promote jihad.”

The Convention was held on Sunday at the Ahmadiyya Centre in Preysal.
