Spreading Christmas Magic one meal at a time: For the past four years, the Environmental Policy & Planning Division of the Ministry of Planning and Development has undertaken a Charity Port of Spain Meal Initiative.
This year, on December 19th, over 300 meals were prepared for street dwellers in Port of Spain through the Love All, Serve All Soup Kitchen.
The food items were solicited via donations from the Ministry’s staff, some of whom also helped with the meal preparations.
The Love All, Serve All Soup kitchen cooks and distributes hot meals to the homeless in Port-of-Spain.
This is part of the EPPD and the Planning and Development Ministry’s mission, part of which is to drive socio-economic transformation in Trinidad and Tobago.
In addition to its mandate and the work they do, the Ministry reaches out to communities, especially those in need to provide support where we can.
