The family members of Rishi Seelochan, Zaid Aladdin, and Vijayand Toophanie are hopeful that the fishermen will return home alive.
The men were all reported missing on October 3rd to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
April Khan, the sister of Zaid Aladdin, said she was told that her brother was making his way to Venezuela with his friends via boat between Tuesday and Wednesday last week, but their boat reportedly sank on the way. Ms. Khan said she was contacted by someone on Sunday who relayed the tragic event.
Omatie Ramsaroop, the wife of Rishi Seelochan, is hoping for some good news soon as Mr. Seelochan is the breadwinner of their family of five.
