The Ministry of Health has been in bilateral talks with Pfizer to acquire the COVID-19 vaccines they’ve developed for children in the 5-11 age group, as well as its new COVID antiviral pill Paxlovid.
Last week, the World Health Organization announced that it approved the vaccines for use in that age group.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh gave an update on the special paediatric formula at Wednesday’s Media Conference on COVID-19.
