Moruga Family Seeks Help For Land Slippage

One Moruga family is seeking urgent assistance as their house in Cachipe Village has fallen prey to land slippage.

Mrs. Rhona Ayers Hamilton explained that the situation has been ongoing for some time.  She said she has been in contact with the Programme for Upgrading Roads Efficiency (PURE), and they assured her that they will come to repair the road but they can only do so once she moves out. However, she is concerned that the weight of their equipment could further damage her house.

Mrs. Hamilton said she hears loud noises in the night and is quite aware that it is not a safe situation as they see the walls pulling apart.

The family is calling on the authorities to assist them in some way before their house crashes to the ground.
