Rigtech Sonics dominated as The Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation continued it’s development series with a Mountain Bike Challenge along the trails at Teak Peaks in Plaisance Park, Pointe-a-Pierre this weekend.
Reon Sheppard continued to impress, he won the Under-11 boys two lap race in 4 minutes, 47.18 seconds. Zepahniah Alexander-Smith was second in 5 minutes 51.11.
Lisa Joe Boodhoo won the girls race in 6 minutes 38.46.
In the boys U7 1 lap, Ryan Sheppard also of Rigtech won in 3:40.97.
The Rigtech pair Jahleel Jacob and Seth Alexander-Smith were one and two in the Boys Under-9 1 lap.
Anniya Victoria Carlton won the girls race in five minutes 16.09 seconds
In the Under-13 three lap races, Rigtech’s Melina Jopseph won in six minutes 34.90 seconds.
Her club-mate Jeduthun Henry was first across the line in 6:45.19 seconds, Liam Ince of Fit Kids was second in 8 minutes .04.72 seconds, Tyrese Toppin finished third in nine minutes, 45.19 seconds.
