The Mumbai Indians continued their poor start today in match 14 of the Indian Premier League.
Taking first strike Mumbai got to 161 for four of their 20 overs. Surya Kumar Yadav top scored with 52 while Kieron Pollard smashed 22 not out of five balls to close off the innings. Sunil Narine remained wicket-less but only allowed 26 runs off his four overs.
KKR maintained the required rate for the first 10 overs but when Pat Cummins entered, they went above the asking rate. He finished with a top score of 56 not out from a record 15 balls to blow Mumbai Indians away by five wickets in just 16 overs. This victory puts KKR on top the standings on 6 points while Mumbai is yet to get a point in ninth spot.
