Gender Discrimination, Bias and Victimization from the National Carnival Commission are being claimed by the owner of one calypso tent as pre action protocol letters have been issued against the NCC and its Chairman.
Attorneys for the Divas Calypso Tent, Martin George and Company, issued a Pre-Action Protocol Letter to the National Carnival Committee, and its Chairman Winston “Gypsy” Peters, threatening High Court action and Injunction, over claims of Nepotism, Cronyism and Self-Dealing by Gypsy as Chairman of the NCC including his own Back to Basics Calypso Tent in the Taste of Carnival line-up.
Dr. Rudolph Ottley, Owner of the Divas Calypso Tent, has instructed his Attorneys to file immediate High Court proceedings if there is no resolution by Tuesday February 22nd.
