Trinidad and Tobago fell to a 89-26 defeat at the hands of Jamaica at the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa.
Playing at the Cape Town International Convention Centre earlier today the Calypso Girls faced a deadly Jamaica attack.
At the end of the first quarter, Jamaica led 20-6, then 44-10 at half-time.
The Sunshine Girls were ahead 69-19 going into the final stanza but never let up on their Caribbean rivals.
In the later match against Wales, Afeisha Noel scored a team high 44 points and Joelisa Cooper a further 11 but T&T still fell 70-55.
Wales outscored T&T in all but one quarter.
The Calypso Girls will now play for rankings.
