Students and teachers of Forms 4 to 6 have resumed face to face classes while the rest of the student population continue online learning.
In December 2021, Minister of Education, Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, announced the resumption of in-person classes for students of the upper forms for teaching classes, Practicals and School-Based Assessments from January 3rd, 2022.
Post-Secondary and Tertiary students will also be allowed to attend physical classes from January 2022.
However, Students of Forms 1-3 or will continue remote learning in January 2022, but are expected to return to the physical classroom on a rotational basis from February 2022.
Standard 5 students will also attend school physically from February 2022 ahead of the March 31st SEA exam, while ECCE and Standards 1-4 students will resume physical classes in April 2022 on a rotational basis.
