Nicholas Paul Battling For Glory at UCI Nations Cup

This country’s men’s cyclists took to the tracks today at the UCI World Cup in Milton, Canada today.

In the men’s Elimination Race, endurance rider Akil Campbell was 14th overall in the event. Campbell did not advance in the Omnium Scratch Race and will take no further part in the event.

In the Men’s Keirin Event, Nicholas Paul and Kwesi Browne were in action today. Needing to win their heats to advance directly to the second round, Paul, the reigning Commonwealth Games Champion in the event, finished 4th in Heat 6 while Browne finished 4th in Heat 4.

In the Repechage, Paul stormed in to victory in Heat 2 in 10.031 seconds, earning a spot in tonight’s second round.

Browne just missed out on a place in tonight’s second round by finishing second in Heat 6 of the Repechage.
