Trinidad and Tobago’s top cyclist Nicholas Paul is once again the Pan American King of Sprints.
This, as Paul defended his Pan American Match Sprint title at the Pan American Track Cycling Championships in Los Angeles, California last evening.
To get to the Finals, Paul got the better of Colombia’s Santiago Ramirez to set up a Gold medal showdown with another Colombian rider, Christian Ortega. The Gasparillo native then defeated Ortega in two straight rides to successfully defend his title and earn a second Gold of the games.
Paul was also successful in defending his Keirin title to win his first Gold and it was double joy for the national team as Kwesi Browne also won Bronze in the Keirin.
