Nine COVID-19 Related Deaths, 462 New Cases Recorded

Nineteen COVID-19 related fatalities in Trinidad and Tobago have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

In its clinical update on Monday, the Ministry of Health indicated that the persons were eight elderly males, seven elderly females, one middle-aged male, and three middle-aged females. Nine of the deceased had multiple comorbidities, eight had one comorbidity, and two persons had no known comorbidity. Their deaths take the COVID-related death toll to 2,134.

The Health Ministry also recorded 462 new Positive cases of the virus. Those results were from samples taken between November 26th and November 28th. The total number of active Positive cases is 10,558.
