The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is assuring that the incident on board the Ocean Pelican vessel involving businessman Adrian Scoon is not dormant.
Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Wendell Williams says there are some legal technicalities within the investigation, one of which is accessing a device which was seized from Mr. Scoon.
Meanwhile, Acting Police Commissioner McDonald Jacob says the Attorney General’s call to him was nothing out of the ordinary.
In late December, over 100 people were detained after being found on board the Ocean Pelican vessel in Chaguaramas. The investigation continues to see whether there were any breaches of the Public Health Regulations.
