Works to clear some impassable roadways in Toco due to landslides continued this morning.
According to the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM), the four landslides in Toco were as a result of heavy rains and high winds associated with Tropical Wave Activity on Tuesday night.
Additionally, in an update, the ODPM said in the North West region, there were reports of landslips in Las Cuevas, Carenage, and Second Caledonia.
In the South West, there were reports of street flooding in Penal, Crawford Trace, Seeraj Trace, and parts of South Oropouche.
Landslides, downed trees, and rocks in several areas were reported in Tobago, while in Matelot, residents and officials worked tirelessly to clear roads, blocked by debris due to landslides.
