OSHA Report On Paria/LMCS Diving Tragedy Will Not Be Made Public Until End Of Commission Of Enquiry

The Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) report on the Paria diving tragedy will not be made public until the Commission of Enquiry is completed.

According to Senator Dr. Amery Browne, barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Commission of Enquiry is expected to begin in August 2022. It will investigate the circumstances around the tragic deaths of four divers contracted by LMCS Limited to carry out underground pipeline maintenance work on behalf of Paria Fuel Trading Company.

Dr. Browne said this is in an effort to avoid prejudicing the Commission of Inquiry’s work.
